How to Earn Money Online for Your First Semester & Beyond

As a college kid, you’re already busy with school and maybe even work study, too.

You may find yourself wishing you had a little extra cash for pizza and coffees, so we rounded up a few of those money-making apps out there that can help line your pockets with some spare change.

Look, we’re not saying you’re going to get rich from these. But, hey, every cent counts. Right?

iPoll

The iPoll website and app allows users to take 20-minute surveys and polls. Users can earn $1 for each activity they complete.

Once you hit $35, you can cash out, although users are more than welcome to take as many surveys and polls as possible.

But, at 20 minutes each, it can take more than 11 hours to reach $35 and cash out. This is definitely an activity for waiting in line or lazing in bed.

Gigwalk

If you are a college student on the go but want to earn some extra cash, become a Gigwalker and find quick jobs in your area.

Businesses can post a variety of tasks that can take anywhere from five minutes to a few hours to complete. Gigwalkers can earn up to $100 for a single task.

This money-making app makes it easy to find local gigs nearby and gives the user total control of when and where they want to earn some extra cash.

BookScouter

Selling books to the neighborhood second-hand bookstore is always an option, but with the BookScouter website and app, students can price compare their novels. As a result, users can get the most bang for their book.

With BookScouter, students can earn back a significant portion of money and even make a profit off their used books.

AppTrailers

Get paid to watch app trailers that are 30 seconds or less on your Android device with the AppTrailers app.

Viewers can earn50 cents per video, which are redeemable by way of gift cards or through PayPal. Users can also upload their own videos and get cash for likes. Or share the app with friends via social media and receive $10 for each referral.
